The prestigious project The White on the site of the former Media Center has been taken over by Allfin, a real estate development company. Allfin is 14 years old and has a presence in coastal towns of Knokke and Koksijde. The White was the largest largest private residential project in Ostend city and would provide for 800 apartments overlooking the sea. Initiated by Group Sleuyter, The White was launched in 2014 without an application for building permit. Allfin has indicated that it has signed a deal with Group Sleuyter and Belfius Immo for acquisition of an option on the ground.
